Marie Pier Vaillancourt Morel 2 Marie-Pier Vaillancourt-Morel, Ph.D.

Marie-Pier is a post-doctoral fellow in Psychology at the Université de Montréal since September 2016 and is receiving financial support from a SSHRC post-doctoral fellowship. Her clinical and research interests focus on childhood and adulthood sexual violence, sexual compulsivity and the compulsive use of online pornography. Marie-Pier obtained her Ph.D. in Research Psychology and Intervention at the Université Laval (Ph.D. R/I) supervised by Stéphane Sabourin and Natacha Godbout. Her thesis was on sexual symptomatology in survivors of childhood sexual abuse. During her Ph.D., she helds a SSHRC doctoral fellowship from 2013-2015 and a FRQ-SC doctoral fellowship from 2015-2016.
