Sophie Bergeron (she/her) is a Professor in the Department of Psychology in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the Université de Montréal. She holds the Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Intimate Relationships and Sexual Well-Being. She directs the Interdisciplinary Research Centre on Intimate Relationship Problems and Sexual Abuse (CRIPCAS), the SCOUP Team – Sexuality and Couples, and the Sexual Health Study Laboratory. Her work focuses on the psychosocial determinants of the sexual health of individuals and couples as well as the treatment of sexual dysfunctions. The results of her research have led to the development of evidence-based group and couple interventions. Her studies are funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC).

Mylène Desrosiers (she/her) is the research coordinator for the Sexual Health Laboratory. She has been with the lab since 2003. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Université Laval and a Masters of Arts in Sexology from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM).

Stéphanie Couture
Stéphanie (she/her) is a postdoctoral fellow at the Université of Montréal under the supervision of Dr. Sophie Bergeron. Her research interests focus primarily on adolescent romantic relationships, sexual well-being, sexual violence in intimate relationships, and mixed-methods research. She is currently supported by a postdoctoral fellowship from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) for the 2023-2025 period. She holds a Bachelor’s degree, a research-intervention Master's degree, and a Ph.D. in sexology from the Université du Québec à Montréal. She received scholarships from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) and the Fonds de Recherche du Québec - Société et Culture (FRQSC) for the 2020-2023 period.

Alice (she/her) holds a Bachelor's degree in psychology from the Université Laval and has been a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at the Université de Montréal since September 2018. Her research interests focus mainly on experiences of adversity during childhood, sexual well-being, as well as sexual orientation and gender diversity. Catherine Hamel
Catherine (she/her) holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi and has been a Ph.D. student in Clinical Psychology at the Université de Montréal since September 2022, under the supervision of Sophie Bergeron, Ph.D. Her research interests focus on couple psychology, more specifically, sexual well-being and sexual dysfunctions. She is also interested in adverse childhood experiences such as child maltreatment. Delphine Perrier Léonard
Delphine (she/her) has been a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology (D.Psy) at Université de Montréal since September 2021, under the supervision of Dr. Sophie Bergeron. Arianne Roy
Arianne (she/her) has been a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology (D.Psy) at the Université de Montréal since September 2023, under the supervision of Dr. Sophie Bergeron. Lydia (she/her) started her Master’s in psychology at Université de Montréal in September 2023 under the supervision of Dr. Sophie Bergeron (UdeM) and Dr. Noémie Bigras (UQO). She has been a part of the Sexual Health Laboratory as a research assistant since the fall of 2021. Her research interests focus on romantic relationships and sexuality, including sexual communication and sexual satisfaction.

Eugénie (she/her) is a second-year student completing her Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the Université de Montréal. She is a research assistant for the laboratory since Fall 2023. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Honors Literature and Creative Writing at Concordia University in 2021. She is interested in couples' satisfaction, communication within couples and intimacy.
Jeanne Bernatchez
Jeanne (she/her) is a first year undergraduate student in psychology at the Université de Montréal. She has been a research assistant for the Sexual Health Laboratory since winter 2024. Her research interests include psychopathology, intimacy and couple communication. Her goal is to pursue a doctorate in clinical psychology.
Charlotte Hélie
Charlotte (she/her) is a 3rd year undergraduate in psychology at Université de Montréal in the Honours program. She has been a research assistant at the Sexual Health Laboratory since May 2022. Her research interests include sexual and psychological well-being, interpersonal relationships, and hypnosis.
Sarah Kholkhal
Sarah (she/her) is a 3rd year undergraduate psychology student at the Université de Montréal. She has been involved in the Sexual Health Laboratory as a research assistant since summer 2023. Her main interests are sexual dysfunctions and relationship well-being. Her goal is to integrate the doctorate in clinical psychology.
Florence Léonard
Florence (she/her) started her masters in psychology at Université de Montréal in September 2023. She has been a research assistant at the Sexual Health Laboratory since the summer of 2023. Nevena Popova
Nevena (she/her) is a third year undergraduate student in psychology at Université de Montréal. She has been part of the Sexual Health Laboratory since fall 2022 as a research assistant and she is currently doing her Honor thesis under the supervision of Dr. Bergeron. Her main research interests include sexual well-being and dysfunctions, trauma and emotion regulation. Her goal is to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology (Research and Intervention).

Audrey-Ann (she/her) is a 2nd year undergraduate in psychology at Université de Montréal. She has been part of the Sexual Health Laboratory since summer 2023 as a research assistant.
