Our laboratory director, Dr. Sophie Bergeron, attended the 5th International Consultation on Sexual Medicine held in Madrid on June 28 and 29. She was on the Female Genito-Pelvic Pain committee along with several colleagues, including Dr. Caroline F. Pukall from Queen’s University in Ontario. Dr. Pukall presented the results of a meta-analysis of treatments for vulvodynia on behalf of the entire committee. The results of this study will be used to guide the International Consultation on Sexual Medicine’s treatment recommendations for genito-pelvic pain.
