New study on couples’ adaptation to stress

By 15 November 2023No Comments

Recruitment for a new study is currently ongoing in the laboratory! This study is the result of a collaboration between Dr. Sophie Bergeron of the Sexual Health Laboratory and Dr. Robert-Paul Juster of the CESAR laboratory.

The SYNC study aims to improve our understanding of how different individual and relationship factors, including sex, gender, sexual orientation, intimacy and attachment, influence the way couples respond to stress. The results of this study could help professionals develop more effective interventions to improve couples’ physical and mental health. To find out more about the SYNC study, or if you’d like to participate, visit the “Current Studies” section of our website!
