On Valentine’s Day, Dr. Bergeron gave an interview to the Journal Le Devoir to discuss the results of a survey by the Institut français d’opinion publique (IFOP) attributing the decline in sexual activity to the growing use of digital devices. However, Dr. Bergeron urges caution in interpreting these data, as they do not establish a causal link. She discusses the various reasons for this decline in sexual activity, but also stresses the importance of maintaining intimacy within the couple.
