Jeanne-Marie has been a resident in gynecology at the Toulouse III – Paul Sabatier University, France, since November 2015. As part of her training in gynecology, she quickly became interested by the sexual health of her patients. Following this, she started training in sexology at the beginning of her residency and graduated with a degree in sexology at Toulouse III University in 2018. Her thesis in sexology focused on the assessment of the sexual quality of life in women with provoked vestibulodynia. Jeanne-Marie is currently attending a 6-months internship, focused on sexual health, in various institutions within Montreal, including the sexual health laboratory. Joining the laboratory has given her the opportunity to discover the research in psycho-sexology, deepen her knowledge of the laboratory’s work, and participate in the meetings and training offered. In the field of sexual health, she is also interested by gender diversity and the support of trans and non-binary people. She graduated with a degree in gynecology of girls and teenagers at the Toulouse III University in 2017. Furthermore, she obtained her degree in healthcare for transgender people at the Bordeaux University in 2019.
