The laboratory is proud to highlight that our doctoral student, Jessica Herrera-Roberge, has been awarded a DIALOGUE Grant – Student Component from the Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ).
Following evaluation by a committee of experts, Jessica’s project was selected to receive $10,000 in funding through the DIALOGUE program.
Since the beginning of her doctoral studies, Jessica has been interested in finding ways to make scientific knowledge more accessible and to foster dialogue between research, clinical practice, and the general public. Developed with the support of Dr. Marie-Michèle Paquette, this project will take the form of a podcast exploring intimate relationships and will offer an accessible, nuanced, and evidence-based perspective on a range of contemporary relationship issues.
Through this grant, the project aims to make scientific and clinical knowledge more accessible, provide practical tools for everyday relationships, encourage thoughtful discussions about intimate relationships, and help challenge persistent myths and taboos.
Congratulations to Jessica on this well-deserved recognition! We look forward to sharing the outcomes of this exciting project.
