Titled πππ§ππππ«ππ πππ§π©π£ππ§ πππ¨π₯π€π£π¨ππ«ππ£ππ¨π¨ ππ¨ πΌπ¨π¨π€ππππ©ππ πππ©π πΌππ€π‘ππ¨πππ£π© ππππͺππ‘ πππ‘π‘ππππ£π ππ«ππ§ 1 ππππ§, the article examines associations over a one-year period between adolescentsβ perceptions of their partnerβs responsiveness and support and their sexual well-being (sexual satisfaction, desire/arousal, orgasm difficulties, and sexual distress), as well as differences related to gender and sexual orientation.
The findings show that feeling understood, supported, and accepted by oneβs partner plays an important role in adolescentsβ sexual satisfaction and desire/arousal, regardless of their gender or sexual orientation.
