New infographics on PRESAJ study data

Curious to learn more about young adults’ romantic relationships and sexuality?

We invite you to consult the five new infographics reporting some interesting data from our PRESAJ study, which were posted on our website in the spring.

They cover five main themes:

– How do young adults experience their sexuality?

This infographic looks at sexuality-related behaviors, as well as young adults’ sexual well-being, including sexual satisfaction, desire, distress and function.

– Pornography and masturbation

This infographic looks at young adults’ consumption of pornography and their perceptions of it. It also reports some statistics on masturbation and some of the benefits associated with it.

– The orgasm gap among young adults

To learn more about the orgasm gap phenomenon, check out this infographic, which reports striking statistics on the frequency and ease of reaching orgasm between girls and boys aged 18-19.

– Microaggressions and discrimination: The experience of LGBTQ+ individuals

This infographic paints a portrait of the sexual and/or gender diverse individuals who took part in our PRESAJ study. It also reports that more than a third of these young adults have experienced microaggressions and/or discrimination associated with their sexual identity and gender, and some examples of what these behaviors can look like.

– Satisfaction and violence in young adults’ romantic relationships

To find out about the prevalence of violent behavior in young adults’ romantic relationships, take a look at this infographic. It also reports some statistics on the degree of happiness in young couples.
