We are delighted to announce that Sophie Doucet has joined our laboratory as a postdoctoral fellow, under the co-supervision of Dr. Sophie Bergeron and Dr. Katherine Péloquin.
Sophie holds a Ph.D. in Family Sciences from the Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO) and a master’s degree in Sexology from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). She is also a lecturer at UQO.
Her research focuses particularly on trajectories of relationship well-being among 2SLGBTQ+ couples undergoing medically assisted reproduction. As a sexologist, she is also interested in the determinants of sexual and relationship well-being, as well as sexual violence.
As part of her postdoctoral fellowship, Sophie will contribute to the project A New Group Intervention for Couples Undergoing Medically Assisted Reproduction: A Randomized Clinical Trial. More specifically, this randomized clinical trial aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a new online psychoeducational intervention called Couples Coping Together (CCT) for couples undergoing medically assisted reproduction.
