From December 14th to 17th, Dr. Bergeron attended the 24th World Meeting on Sexual Medicine in Dubai, where she was invited to present some of her work. She first took part in a one-day training session on women’s sexual health offered by the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health. Dr. Bergeron’s presentation was entitled “Child maltreatment: An often neglected issue“. Then, as part of a symposium on genito-pelvic pain, Dr. Bergeron gave a presentation entitled “Genital pain: Brain/psychological approach“, which focused on group and couple psychological treatments available to individuals coping with genito-pelvic pain.T
